Product Review: John Frieda- FRIZZ-EASE

HAPPY SATURDAY GUYS!!!!!:D I know, I know it been almost a month and i haven’t blogged. I have absolutely no excuse for this lazy attitude, but i WILL try to pick it up and blog a lot more often! So much has happened since i last blogged, for starters Word press has changed a bit (as well as face book:( ) and I REACHED OVER 3,000 hits and all i can say about that is THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart, i was literally freaking out today when i logged on and saw  that!!

Now on to the product in Review! I have VERY curly and unmanageable hair, i absolutely hate leaving my hair down when its curly for even straight only because it wont stay curly or even straight the second i walk out the door! my type of hair is the hair that gets puffy and very frizzy. and so about 3 weeks ago i finally said “im sick of my hair and i want a change” so what i did was i did research and a lot of people kept saying that Frizz-Ease by John Frieda works wonders! so I said what the heck,what do i have to lose, you know? The second i came home with the product i immediately did what the instructions said to do, which was to put 7-12 sprays of the product on my hair after i had taken a shower and than blow dried it and after straightened it.  I noticed an immediate change while i was straightening my hair, it looked more shinier and healthier then before.  It wasn’t very shiny or very healthy but it was a big difference for me personally.  after i was done with everything i saw that my hair wasnt puffy, frizzy, damaged looking, or bad, i really liked it. i know that i had gone out later that day and it had rained the day before so it was a bit gross and humid outside and i was VERY disappointed when i felt my hair frizzing up little by little! to wrap this review up, I wouldn’t totally recommend this product, i mean I LOVE it when i was indoors but outdoors not so much!

If you guys have either tried this product or any of the John Frieda project or just any hair product in general please let me know what you thought about them, id love to know!

The ultimate Fashion Faux Pas: Fur

Many Celebrities especially during this time of the year are getting slammed by PETA for wearing real fur. A couple of examples would be Rhianna, the Kardashian sisters, Lindsay lohan , Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, Kanye West, and more. My personal opinion is that fur should be left on animals since that how it was intent to be.  Sadly many high-end fashion companies dont think that its bad making animals suffer for the name of fashion.

When it comes to fur, are you one to fake it? Or is it a fashion must have?

“It’s a British thing.” Did you know that the reason the British people from across the pond always seem to top off every event with a stylish hat is all thanks to Queen Elizabeth l. Yes its true, in fact when Queen Elizabeth l reigned in 1571 she made it a law that mandated everyone over the age of seven to wear a hat on Sundays.

Even though the law is long gone, the tradition still stands. Its kind of like an unofficial hat dress code for whenever there are horse races, garden parties and even weddings.

Another cool fact is that us Americans also follow in the tradition a bit, by wearing these stylish hats to horse races.

Must Watch video: Anderson Coopers giggling attack

Whats so funny Anderson? CNN TV host Anderson Cooper, usually is professional when it comes to reporting news but he just couldn’t hold it in while talking about actor Gerard Depardieu’s terrible airplane peeing incident last nigh. I have watched this video honestly a good 15 times and I just had to share it with you guys if you haven’t already seen it. It was very cool to see Anderson Cooper let loose and just  have a good laugh about something silly. And as for Gerard Depardieu when you gotta go you gotta go!

Look of the Day: Pippa Middleton

Hey guys, happy Tuesday!! I hope all is going well with everyone, Ive currently been giving the blog a MUCH NEEDED makeover lol, so please leave a comment on what you think about the changes or what you think should be done differently. I would greatly appreciate it!:D

For the look of the day I have chosen PIPPA MIDDLETON, I mean who doesn’t love her!! The younger Middleton sister was spotted out in London going a bit rocker chic as opposed to her usual casual flare with a Ditsy print dress matched with a cropped leather jacket.

I have to say im really loving this bit more edgier look for Pippa. What are your thoughts on Pippa’s outfit choice? Have a YOUnique day everyone!;)

Alexander McQueen has done it again, and to know ones surprise of course. Showcasing  some of Fall 2011′s hottest trends- sequence, feathers,and  lace were the main styles Alexander used for his silhouettes. Alexander definitely left no room for error as he and his team left us with our jaws dropped!

As hard as it was to pick a favorite from Alexander McQueen Fall 2011 dress collection, I have to say im obsessed with the white dress that has the sequenced top and layered ruffled bottom!

Leather to the MAX!!

HEY ALL!!! long time no see right?!? Well im happy to be blogging again:), and today I wanted to bring up…. LEATHER FASHION!!!! Its 2011 and leather is no longer just for jackets!! Leather is very interesting because it can be worn in the Fall, Winter, Spring, and even in the Summer.

For the Fall, skin dresses or even a scoop-neck leather dress seems like a good way to go, they not only have a sexy feel to them but also that over-powering feel; the good kind of course!;)

For the Winter, a very traditional leather coat is always cute and fashionable (the ones from H&M are especially cute) and even a crazy but YOUnique leather bow or headband adds more flare and gives any outfit a boho look to it as well.

For the Spring and even the Summer, a leather vest (preferably a colored vest; black leather during the spring/summer is just non-purposeful) can make any outfit complete plus it adds a cute pop!

Hey everyone, Happy Friday!! I know i know I’ve been doing horrible with updating my blog-just bear with me I promise  to try to my hardest to do better! I also have to say THANK YOU to everyone that’s taken time out of their day to actually check out my blog; ive recently hit over 2,000 hits and its all thanks to you guys!! so thank you once again!!:)

On to another topic; what do you guys think about TOMS shoes and eye wear? I personally love what Blake Mycoskie has done by creating a company that would match every pair of shoes purchased with a pair of new shoes and that pair is given to a child in need. Not only are the shoes and eye wear for a good cause but at the same time their also cute, fashionable, and different which is always a good combination! What do you guys think about the shoes and eye wear? id love to know!
